Victor Satei – Manager, Player and Coach Development
With over 15 years of coaching and player development experience, Victor joins Toronto FC Juniors as the Manager of Player and Coach Development. Having played in Canada and Italy, Victor gained a deep understanding of the Canadian Soccer landscape, while also experiencing what it means to be part of a true high-performance environment in Europe.
Following his playing days, Victor began coaching and found a passion that would quickly become his full-time endeavour. Over the years, he built a track record of successfully leading and managing organizations through his ability to develop soccer players and coaches. One of his major accomplishments was his work contributing to the development of the Power FC Academy in Toronto which grew to become one of the largest and most well-recognized academies in Ontario. More recent success comes via the Apex International Football Consultancy which he began as a startup in 2013 and was quickly recognized for the company’s ability to assist organizations with the development of coaches, players, and programs.
Victor studied sports management at Durham College and currently holds the UEFA ‘A’ and USSF ‘Youth’ coaching licenses. He shares a deep interest in the study of sports psychology and sports science. Through his extensive study, travel, and experiences, he believes that we must always be in search of the most modern and innovative approaches to player and coach development. He is looking forward to his new role with Toronto FC Juniors and hopes to see the program’s unique training curriculum, titled “Me, We, Us”, spread throughout the province. He believes it will improve soccer in the province by placing an emphasis on the most important stage of development – grassroots soccer.
Dino Lopez – Manager, Business and Partnerships
Dino joins TFC Juniors as the Manager of Business and Partnerships, as well as being an assistant coach in the TFC Academy for the past three seasons.
As a player, Dino grew up playing in the Toronto Italia Soccer Club and played his first semi-professional game at the age of 17. He went on to play for numerous Canadian Soccer League teams including the Hamilton Steelers, Toronto Blizzard, the Montreal Impact, was a CSL All-Star and capped for Canada in 1992. He was also a two-time USISL/A-League All-star with the Milwaukee Rampage where he won a championship in 1996.
After retirement, Dino began a sales career but always coached to satisfy his love for the game. Ultimately, he went back to the game full-time as a Technical Director in the amateur club system and then took on a consulting role with Apex International Football Consultancy, developing programs, doing technical audits of clubs/academies and doing coach development.
Dino has a USSF National A License and a BA in Economics from York University. He grew up in the GTA and believes that we have one of the best untapped soccer talent pools in North America. He looks forward to the opportunity to develop and identify great, young, Canadian players through TFC Juniors.

Jordan Cardinale – Assistant Manager, Player and Coach Development
Jordan Cardinale brings with him over ten years of coaching experience and joins Toronto FC Juniors as the Assistant Manager of Player and Coach Development. He has worked in a multitude of environments from grassroots to the club and academy levels of the game. Working to develop yearly curriculums for teams and individuals, providing players a platform to create better movement skills through general play and exercise as well as providing guidance to coaches through an evolving coach training program has been his main focus.
He holds a USSF National ‘C’ License, OSA ‘B’ License, NCCP Fundamental Movement Skills Certification, and a BSc in Kinesiology from York University. Jordan’s goals are to develop technically proficient players that make excellent decisions and are brave enough to impact the game on an individual level. All the while building the character and attitude of the players with innovative training methods.
